I agree Audre, I like how flowers look from all angles, and have shot several recently from the bottom up. I like the dof on this too, it really adds to the contrast.

Hey Dawn, thanks for the feedback. I kinda like the 'ugly stem' and the contrast to the delicate petals -- the imperfections are part of the charm. I did go back and forth myself, but decided that I do like the 'undersides' of things even if they are not cosmetically perfect. :-)

this one isn't my favorite--to me the stem takes up too much of the image and it isn't really a very pretty stem--done this myself and reconsidered.

Beautifully composed and framed. I like the contrast between the soft white petals and the strong details of the green stem. Janet
