I've always loved deserted windows & doors. This one has the added element of a missing pane. The crossed wood beams add complexity to an otherwise simple shot.

Just used RAW Curves in PS-CS2.

I agree there is something very appealing about closeup shots of urban decay. I like how you have captured this window, composition slightly to the right with the extra lumber to the left addes to the shot. The colors are very appealing as well.
