I like this idea--and I love the colors on the "elder" flower. If it were me, I'd remove the bottom leaves, and take the shot vertically to pull in on the flowers and give strength to the straightness of the stalks. You could also try it indoors and make it really sharp--structurally it might work nicely like that too.
