Our zoo was having a "birthday" cake event and several of the animals were being fed "cakes" on Monday. I was really taken by two tortoises who were actively going for a jello-flavored with mango juice cake. I was only a few feet away but was being jostled by other on-lookers. This is the zoo-keeper's hand lifting chunks of the cake for the tortoise to get. All the turtles I've ever seen have been very inactive, this one was eagerly lifting it's head for the cake. After it had it's full a peacock came by and had a few tastes as well.
