Good lighting. A 1cm crop from right and top sides would improve composition imo.

It looks like the bird's beak might be more in focus than his eye. I think I'd like to see it with the bird's face in focus a bit more and/or less movement in the plants in the background. I do like how the red on his face really stands out from the plants.
