No, I did not use a polarizer. I usually do with this type of picture and I thought of it as I was running out of the house trying to catch some fog with sunrays streaking through it. I did not catch the fog and just ended up with this relatively plain picture.

A beautiful and tranquil shot Jim, did you use a circ-polarizer for this shot? - if not, it may help cut down the glare off the water...
