Just south of Richmond VA, we enjoyed a warm day for 1 January. The high was nearly 70 degrees F. I had no desire to get out in the gift exchanging traffic so I babysat our grandson while mom and grandma went out. The light was harsh and low angle as common this time of year but it was wonderfully warm and good for playing among the trees behind the house. This tree hugger shot was taken in Tv mode with flash fill to try to balance out the illumination but the low angle sun and flash were nowhere near the same color balance so there is some mixed light problem showing here. I'm not sure if this will be my best work of 2005 but I only have 364 more days to try so you never know.
