Methinks he's a crow. Ravens tend to have a much rounder beak- more.. um.. shaped like a toucan? I can't really describe it. Crows often have much sleeker lines where their head melds into their beak, very streamlined. Ravens, also very beautiful birds, tend to have a more pronounced "bump" of the head, then a rounded "bump" of their beak.
Of course, size measurements on this beauty would help. :-)
