People outside my work...
by ifotog

The other day my wife showed up at work with Thalia and a tricycle so they could show me how well she's riding on her own. We've been pushing her around on it most of the summer. She zipped around the parking lot like a crazy person. They learn so fast.

The "motion blur" in the background is added in PS to help blur out the cars and give a sense of the breakneck speeds she was attaining. The image was converted to B&W to also help minimize distractions in the background.

Panasonic Lumix DMC-G2
1/640s f/2.8 at 20.0mm iso100 full exif

other sizes: small medium original auto

Thalia rocks!!! She's a great kid, you should be proud.

Great job, Mike - the blurring really gives it a great sense of motion.

Well done Mike. Now how about a picture showing the tread marks on your foot ;-)

it's a great action shot.. as said, I like how you got the blurred background.. Seems like it's zoomed..

Fun shot, Mike. So cute and I like how you handled the background elements.

OH to be that young and show no fear, works well in B/W. Very expressive capture and thanks for the processing info, appreciated..

Don't they just grow so quickly, I'm glad to see you've provided her with protective headgear even on this small tricycle... lovely shot, she looks so proud of herself
