I think you did a perfect job of processing and bring forth those colors. Many times we look at a piece and see only the rust and this is a good lesson for all of us to learn about looking beyond the surface.

This really works for me, the rusty metal background has great definition almost 3D and the colour bar stands out with the colour and patterns. Well done. Good eye to see the potential and well processed to bring out the best.
