I picked this because I liked the starkness of the trees, and the strong lines of the shadows. Taken in a wildlife refuge in Peru, Massachusetts.

I really like this. The apparent path through the trees really draws my eye along and the beautiful blue sky in a nice offset for all the mutes colors elsewhere. I'd be tempted to somehow (clone?) remove the paint marks on the foreground tree, though (just my approach, I guess).

Neat balance of diverse textures, the vertical trees contrasting with the mottled leaves.
