Across the Border

Big Bend National Park, TX

The Rio Grande River as it approaches Boquillas Canyon in Big Bend National Park. The opposite side of the river is near the Village of Boquillas del Carmen, Mexico.

I should have added there was a polarizer on the camera when the shot was taken.

In response to the processing question: I just about always do a curves adjustment on the RAW file. In this case, in the psd file, I also have a levels adjustment layer, a "burn" layer for some of the sky, a "dodge" layer for the bottom right corner. I used focal blade to do the final sharpening.
