It might be the middle of nowhere, but it sure is gorgeous...what a fabulous capture!

Nice capture.

Wonderfully atmospheric landscape. The pastel colors are super. I agree with others about cropping down the sky to make it a panoramic shot...much more dramatic that way.

Beautiful image Lori. I had accidently scrolled down some and noticed that eliminating some of the sky draws the focus to the road and hills. You may want to play with cropping and see what you come up with.

Neat shot

Nicely balanced composition, the road and distant hills give it good depth and the light and shadow together with a good sky makes an excellent setting, well captured Lori...

Simple and excellent..

The road plays a major part in the composition but it is the subtle definition that you have brought out on the hills that makes this for me. A faster shutter speed and you may have captured 'Road Runner' in the shot ;-)

Cool!! Is this Tx 17 between Balmorhea and Fort Davis? Or is it 118? I don't recognize the stretch of road. This is one of my all time favorite places (nice shot, too! :-)

A very cool shot. The road is a great leading line, the mountains provide some nice diagonals, and the fog or mist is a nice effect. I might crop a little of the sky to help bring the eye down to the real detail in the shot.
