5/10/05 Shot this morning, about 7:00 am, shooting
east. Taking Jenna to the shipyard in Long Beach
for bottom paint. It was such a beautiful morning ": D

I could have labeled these before and
after... This view the bottom has been
repainted, propellors polished and she
is ready for the season. In person
one can readily see the difference.
this tractor pushes the boat sideways,
to the road that leads to the weighs (sp?)
Then the entire boat, cradle and all, are
lowered to sea level and she floats off..
Even though it was Friday the 13th...all went
very well :)

This is Marina Shipyard in Long Beach
We took our boat there to have the bottom
painted, and of course I took my camera.
This sailboat was loaded on a big rig Tractor/
trailor. I thought it looked interesting dangling
from the crane :)

for some reason, this image brings to mind
so many of the nursey rhymes and bedtime stories
I heard as a child. Just a feeling, perhaps...
