Protecting and Serving...LAPD

I am shooting this, standing just up the knoll. This is the west
terminus of Nordhoff Street, ending at the Chatsworth Reservoir.
While I was standing here, I merely turned around and made
the captures of the wire and fire images.

I want to add that all of these Officers were just the nicest,
sweetest (they probably would prefer a different adjective :)),
helpful and Professional guys. They were very nice to me.

They even posed on their black and white steeds with smiles
and good natured ribbing of each other.

The Fire Fighters I met this night were the same sort of Professionals.
I am grateful to, and also proud of all of these fine men. They were
friendly, reassuring and all displayed an impressive competence.

how surreal and nearly toy-like-- a shadow box prop for those old sci-fi flicks. is that a ufo suspended on strings? :)

I like this shot the best of all.. the B&W really adds drama to the night lights and the shadows. well done. voted.
