Blekensop Road in Victoria is a great place to visit to see farm life in the city. You can also visit the Beacon Hill Park Children's Petting Farm in the summer. The farm has a large area with horses, goats, lambs and bunny rabbits. The farm is close to the Dallas Road side of the park, between Cook Street and Douglas.

The peacocks, including one beautiful albino peacock, have free reign of the entire park year-round. You can always see them at the duck pond across from the farm, or sitting along the farm roofs.
