Beacon Hill Park, Victoria, B.C.

Normally these ducks (hooded merganser) hide in the low branches or fly away whenever I'm around and I've never had a chance to actually shoot one in the open. It was nice to see this one with an afternoon catch -- although at quite a distance away. I had to crop this significantly.
