With this image the first thing I did was change the angle of the lion to make him look straight across instead of down. Because of this, and to remove some of the negative space on the right I cropped the image. Then I used the levels and curves to darken the image and bring out the colors. Then burned in the outer edges and then I sharpened the image slightly. - Chuck
