I bought this bike late last year and thoroughly enjoyed it throughout the winter and into this summer. I'm finally getting started on learning all of its inner workings and maintenance etc in order to start modifying it to suit my "needs".
Unfortunately, just to make sure we bonded sufficiently, the bike developed a slow oil leak. My aspirations of starting with some simple maintenance to learn the ropes (oil change, brake pads etc) quickly turned into a much larger project as I researched the cause of the oil leak. As a result, I spent this evening properly organizing my shed the way I have been intending for months and the bike now sits on it's throne awaiting all the parts for a little TLC this weekend. After years of laying in a driveway under a 4X4 vehicle and hoping it doesn't rain before I can finish whatever work I'm doing, I'm looking forward to spending some time in here...in front of a fan...with all my tools organized nearby.
