I am not sure if this Mallard was sick, disoriented, or maybe just tired, but he was definitely out of place. My fiance and I went to the movie theater to see Iron Man 3 and he was hanging out on about a 10' by 6' patch of grass that was stuck between the theater, the shopping mall, and several restaurants. He originally caught my attention because he was defending this patch of grass quite well. Two teenage girls decided to ensure that no one regained to much faith in humanity and ran after the duck...at which point the duck ran after them.
I hope the he worked everything out. When we left the movie theater I tried to spot him on the grass but it was getting dark and I couldn't be sure if he was in fact still there or not.
