Terrific composition and DOF
Sue Robertson23-Aug-2006 01:18
Very interesting shot Craig. I like you use of DOF it does tend to make me dizzy trying to find the focus point.

Cool shot with the dof play. Nice to see these boat at Cambridge. V.

Really good job on this. I think it worked perfectly - on a v challenging subject also imo. Like this a lot. Ends up looking like a macro. Which means those boats are >tiny< :).

What can I possibly say that the others have not?? I will add to the comments with, I want this image!
Guest 22-Aug-2006 11:42
Fantastic - as AL says this is the perfect use of your selective focus trick, it makes the image a little disorientating - I'd love to see the original to compare! Vote

Magical! V
AL22-Aug-2006 04:15
Yes you did the magical touch again :-) Your selective focus made it interestingly out of scale, an illusion, not sure of the right word to describe. Strange it may sound, they looked like floating pegs to me! Great texture and colors too. And I like your composition showing the "spread". Amazing.
Scott Browne22-Aug-2006 04:00
Like the DOF and comp.
