This is the story of our days... of our cities and your photo couldn't be more straight to the point. Great use of the light that give the image an almost "holy" feeling...

I just agree with all the other contributors. Incredible well composed image emphasising the lonliness of the character sleeping on the floor.

hmmm...to take the time to lay out the cardboard mattress...such a tidy scene is at conflict with the subject. Love the lighting.

Depressing and moving. It's always a sad scene to see homeless people, their helplessness and their loneliness. And in this case their emptiness too. Their lives are so visible yet often unseen. Thanks for the "light", Craig.

Like the idea that he is waiting for his partner. Superb quilt of colors and light.

Stunning! La réalité urbaine peut aussi être très belle.

Fabulous shot. Great composition. I find the image more symbolic - the mat could be laid out for anyone of us.

I feel sad because I walk past homeless people like this every day and usually ignore them, yet I can be completely captivated by a photo as good as this. And this does look fantastic ... the way the mat is laid out ready for a friend or partner.
