what a lovely lighting on the leaves, the blur textures on the tree makes a perfect background for the sharp leaf details, superb.

Yes, a lovely mono offering of rich tones. The background is interesting, as Sue says looks like a giant pineapple.

Agree with Ray, there is the effect of a 3rd dimension in this comp! The light is really awesome and magical.

Great shot! Excellent b/w tones, lighting, sharpness, and dof!

A well balanced shot. Great composition, dof, texture, lighting, toning... the list goes on and on. It's magical how you always transformed an ordinary slice of life into something so beautiful. Well done my friend and voted.
Steven Jusczyk04-May-2006 01:59
Nice contrast of light and subject.
Guest 04-May-2006 01:46
Funny, sometimes thumbnails do not do a photo justice. For once, didn't have high hopes when I clicked on this but was very surprised. The distortion, lighting / contrast and texture make this a beautiful piece of work. Big vote Craig - really dig it.
René Lortie04-May-2006 01:18
Wonderful B&W. I like the light and dark contrast.
Sue Robertson04-May-2006 01:14
Love it. Funny from the thumbnail I thought it was a pineapple. But it is so much better.
Well done.
