A brilliant find - I can see how this one could have inspired the whole series.
The simple grey scale is very much aother world compared to motel 6710.

I must admit I'm not good at story-telling nor reading stories or thoughts. But so far your images do have a special impact on me. The simple bare objects featured are rather provoking and make me think beyond my comfort zone. Great job, Craig!

Nice colours.

I think this is the photo where one realises that you're not building a collection of images around a theme, but creating a story that must be told. Absolutely essential choice where other aspects of the story are beginning to unfold. Love how no people have been included in scenes thus far and the camera work has indeed avoided anything like that altogether here. No cars, no people, no life - yet. The pointing / swooping arrow to the sky with the washed out whites. This couldn't be any better. Beginning to love this series. Voted

LOL! This one might be elsewhere in North America, though...

That's a great shot. Adds a lot to the theme of this gallery.

This is gorgeous, Craig. I love the color and the comp (original comments, ay?) I love old signs and advertising. Too hip!

oh man, I love this! Fantastic color, fantastic composition....simple and very effective...a landmark image for this project...the swooping style of the sign fit's your project theme so very well.
