Excellent! interesting how we all go through various phases - this gallery is filled with slightly blurred images (blurred on purpose, of course - a very appealing effect), while the following ones tend to lose the blur and turn into more dramatic and contrasty ones - Beautiful path in your evolution anyway, and nice to see some older work as well.

Jeff's comment makes me laugh...this really does feel familiar. Great find, well seen. I love it.

Ibdeed, these tones that there some times in your photos are excellent. Reminds me Adrian Lynch. Perfect for a film scene. V.

Golden lights - magical processing of this bakersfield shots! Love it all!
Guest 20-Feb-2006 06:36
Very good picture. The new processing you're doing along with these perpendicular lines in composition is paying off wonders. This wall has been seen by man, captured by few - the mark of any good street photography :). Vote

There's something about this composition I really like, though I can't quite put my finger on it. The lighting is terrific.

Belongs in Chucks's photo project:) Very well seen. Love the long crop, and the processing as well. I might have gone with a little less sky. I need to take a drive to Bakersfield!

Great patterns in the brickwork I like the composition and the lovely warm tones.

Looks like Bakersfield sees a lot of action! (j/k!) This is a wonderful photo with great light and a story to tell.

I'm totally jealous of your light, of that sun...
I really like what you do with this light. I love the colours and composition of this image.

Golden foothill tones... really warm. I like the compo

Urban melancholy (tm) Cali style - so desolate and such a variety of tones within a narrow palate - very nicely done again.

They look bleached and burnt at the same time. V.
