Tiger Salamander Eggs - Ambystoma tigrinum

Cape May County, NJ

Like most other mole salamanders, Tigers lay their eggs in a gelatinous mass attached to underwater vegetation or detritus. The egg masses in this colony, on average, were about 4 inches long.
