Airpirate, I'm afraid that due to competition, Wing Shing has had to change it's business model and now hires substandard people to man its enlarged store. As a result, the personal and personable service it used to dispense as a family-owned kind of store is lost. Instead, you get these unsightly dopeheads for salespeople. Next time, go over to its brother store, Man Shing, and ask for Mr Chow, a guy who has been there long before the advent of the dopeheads.

I live in HKG and went to Wing Shing for my first time today (the one on Fa Yuen St.). Terrible service I asked the guy to see a lens. He said "you want to buy? Stupid question.... So he gets the lense and I aks can I put it on my camera to check it out. He said absolutley not! I was only allowed to look at the lense in the packaging! Go to Citicall next door it's cheaper and has int'l warranty! Buy a lens without looking through it?? Wonder if they sell many cameras this way?

I have been to Wing Shing when I visited Hong Kong three years ago and purchased a cellular telephone and Motorola walkie-talkies. Their video cameras seemed well priced as well. They offer excellent deals and are good service. I recommend them to all travellers seeking a good place to buy cameras and other electronic equipment.

It's good to see pictures of the homeland! Looks like Wing Shing is the Samy's Camera of Hong Kong!
