It is a very popular scene nowadays in Hong Kong. Everyday, there are many tourists (mainly from China) queneing up outside the Flagship stores of those big brand names along the Canton Road. Materialism rules this generation's life in China ?

Great shot and commentary. Just like when the Berlin border opened up, the first thing the East Berliners did was go shopping at fancy department stores. So in the end Materialism defeats communism better than any other method! BV
