There is a large rock sample of Charnokite outside the University here in Adelaide. I believe it was brought back from an Antarctic expedition. Do you know anything about this?

I was searching for something on Charnock's tombstone and came accross your site. I mapped the "charnockites" of southern Norway nearly 30 years ago. The "type locality" of this rocktype, found in all high grade metamorphic regions around the world, is this very tombstone!
P.S. Like your Gippland photos too (I was born i Sale but haven't been back for over 40 years)
