Welcome to one of Ottawa-Carleton's most frequented all-season parks, attracting people from all over. Andrew Haydon Park is a one of a kind where the animals, people and scenery all come together. On any given day you will find 50-75% of the people walking around with a supply of peanuts, carrots, lettuce, bread, etc. for the animals which include; Geese, Ducks, Herons, Rabbits, Squirrels, Chipmunks, Groundhogs, Muskrats, along with of course the Sea Gulls.

This is the only place I know of where even the groundhogs are a welcome site to park visitors. Andrew Haydon Park is shared by young and old, singles, couples, families, groups, etc. For many of us this has become our second home.

Hello Gang, Apparently from your photos we are not only neighbours but have probably passed each other on many occassions! You have excellent shots of one of my favorite places! :-) Not sure if you managed to find the mother and father goose who have adopted the lost duckling. It's been with them for the past week, and I must say the proud parents "Mother and Father Goose" are extremely protective of their young duckling. Catherine
