A lovely lady reached the age of 100 years. Lillian Jones was born in England but for many years she has lived in Canada. She was the mother of three and resided in Cape Breton, Nova Scotia. One would only have to meet Lillian once to instantly experience her infectious smile and laugh as she had a great sense of humor. She enjoyed her family and being in the accompaniment of family and friends. On her 100th Birthday, family and friends gathered to wish her well and share in her special day. She received a letter from Queen Elizabeth; a letter she wanted so much to receive in recognition of her 100th birthday. Two weeks after Lillian became Nova Scotia's newest centenarian, she attended the 90th birthday celebration of her dear friend, Genevieve. Here are a few photos; friends, family, and yes a few pets.
