What a delight to go through this and all your other galleries Tony.Some really good images throughout.It's hard to do Cape Breton justice but you have.I've only been there once and certainly want to go back.Saw the Rankins a bit ago, a great concert that also made me think of your wonderful part of Canada. Fabulous pictures of a fabulous island. My mother, brother and his wife, aunts and cousins still live in and around Baddeck. My husband and myself also lived there for a couple of years, but couldn't make a living and have since returned to the U.S. However, your pictures make me want to move back. I do go to visit a couple of times a year and that helps. But I sure do miss it. Thank you for your pictures. Ann

Awesome. I am from India(live in India too), but have been to Cape Breton Island once, and spent 15 days just going around that island. I have never seen anything like it before. Everything about the place is beautiful, the scenary, the people.. just everything. And you have managed to capture just like it is in your pictures. They are very nice. :)

Awesome pics of the old island.I was born in Glace Bay and lived there for 18 yrs.Moved away in 1977.I have only been back one time in 30 yrs.Who could picture a more prettier place than Cape Breton Island.God sure did a great job!

Tony them pictures where awsome i've been traveling back and forth from the cape to alberta and back and home will never be alberta lol. But when you have a young boy to look after and the work isn't here you have no other choice.So take care nice pics.

The pictures are absolutely great! I can see that you have enjoyed your time in Cape Breton just as much as I have. It is a unique place full of the freedom of open spaces and the comfort of a small town. I would recommend Cape Breton as a destination for any traveller.

Love the pictures of Benacadie and Benacadie West. I spent a lot of time there growing up but I have lived away now for 19 years. It is so nice to see it captured in photos so others can enjoy it.

I'm from ohio , my wife and I were up to cbi in june this year. We fell in love with it.After looking at your photos it makes me wish we lived there.We are going back in a couple years.next time for a lot longer stay, and a much better camera.We have a lot of good video of cape breton.

Tony, I came across your site by accident, and what an absolute joy. I am a huge fan of Rita MacNeil who was born in Big Pond and lives part of the time in Big Pond and has her tea rooms there. Absolutely love these pictures. I am a displaced Cape Bretoner living in London and missing everything about that beautiful island. I am a fortunate person to have grown up in such a wonderful place and can hardly wait for the day I can move back home. For now these pictures are a wonderful link to the island I've left behind for the time being.
