The big V8 engined Corvette was wise to let the
small British 4 cylinder Turner pass. The Turner
is definately a giant killer. The engine in the Turner is
a typical 1960's British 4 cylinder motor of maybe 150 H.P.
It races is the large bore class with Corvettes, Mustangs
and Shelby GT 350's, Jaguar E Types, and Porsche 914/6's.
The Turner is light and has remarkable handling, excellent brakes
and was designed as a road going production sports car.
A well driven Turner can make hash meat out of all of the
above listed cars on the average American road course.
