Don is an inspiration to senior citizens like myself. He didn't want his
Age mentioned, so I won't. I will say that I am nearly 78 and Don is a
couple years older than I am. Don and his lovely wife restored this
Wonderful piece of Italian automotive art. After the war Nardi like several
other small Italian auto makers used what ever was available to produce
efficient and fast small race cars. Nardi used a variety of engine from Fiat and
Alfa Romeo, but the also at the request of their U.S. distrubuter cars with engines.
The most Common engine in the U.S. imported was the small Crosley of 750 cc.
Don still feels the need for speed.
P.s.
I must give credit where credit is due. My wife Terri snapped this shot of Don while
I was out on the track tacking racing photos.
