Canon PowerShot SX60 HS

For some time I have been an admirer of the Nikon Cool Pix P900...but I am a Canon man. Last weekend I happened onto the Canon USA site and came across such a deal on the Canon PowerShot SX60 HS camera. The specifications are so similar that I just had to di into my road trip stash. Well, the camera came today. It is so much different from my full size DSLR's. it is small and light.
The focal length on the zoom lens goes from 21 mm to 1,365 mm in 35 mm equivalent.
So far I have taken about 18 or 20 pic's.
It is going to be interesting in learning this new piece of equipment. The SX60 HS is not going to replace my DSLR's as I love them and they do a great job in portraits and races etc. This is just supposed to be a quick to use camera when I don't want to be carrying around a 6 or 7 pound camera. lets see what it can do.

Even though I own and enjoy the aforementioned Nikon P900, I recommended the Canon to a relative, because it is more sophisticated, with better viewing and focusing (both problematic with my P900 at times). I'd say that it was a good choice, especially after viewing these images.
