The Angeles Crest FunRun was absolutely awesome!!! Starting at the Foot Hill Café it’s 55 miles of nonstop twisties with an elevation change of about 6500 feet. Anyone that has ever driven route 2 knows that out of a 110-mile round trip you are usually doing good to get 20 or 30 miles of open road do to slow moving tourist well that was not the order of business on the 2nd. With the national forest closed due to an extreme fire danger the road was deserted! It was the ride of a lifetime, one of those drives that we all spent time dreaming about while trying to decide it these cars were really that good. Yes they are!!!
