Infrared photography is a visual trip and an expansion of your mind's eye and creativity! Nothing can quite compare with the surreal factor of bright white foliage, a dark sky and how beautifully infrared light is reflected and absorbed by different surfaces. Infrared photography is another photographic playing field that embraces your artistic expression by inspiring you to shoot traditional subjects in entirely new and novel light. My converted camera can capture invisible light, transforming ordinary landscapes into extraordinary! Our world becomes incredibly magical when captured in infrared light.

In hindsight, if I was beginning to learn photography all over again I would start with black and white and then move into infrared. There is so much to be observed in terms of composition, shapes, varying subtleties of shadows and light and textures.

Fluffy clouds were indeed "the extra" that was missing on the day I created these first infrared images.
