This is glorious springtime in Namaqualand which is situated just northwest of South Africa. It was August and our timing was perfect. Newborn baby goats were spilling onto the earth being nudged to stand by their mother.

As much as I enjoy doing macro floral photography, I find even greater pleasure in showing the flowers in context.
