Mexican Free-tailed Bats (Tadarida brasiliensis) use the caverns in the park. The Stuart Bat Cave is an easily access location where the bats can be observed leaving the cave at dusk and returning at dawn. We weren't able to be there at the right time of day, but we did get to see the Cave Swallows which share the cave with the bats.
