Big Bend National Park Blue Creek Canyon 01 May 2015
We walked the Blue Creek Canyon trail in search of Gray Vireo and Lucifer Hummingbird. We were successful on finding both species, but no photos. There are some fantastic red rock formations in this canyon. We met a birder on the trail who tipped us off to look for the flowering century plant. There was a Lucifer Hummingbird defending this food source.
