At night, from my place, we can see all the ships shining and traveling along the Malacca Strait. They are also greats sunsets with different contrast and colour every day. There is a lot of activities, such as fishing, boat making and malay kanpung, stalls, palmer and rice plantations, lakes...
Fishing men are collecting small prawns with nets linked with two wooden sticks in V shape. There work depend on the tide of the sea with water up to the chest. There wife will later on sell the prawns along the Malacca Strait.
Sumatra is not to far (45 mn by boat), but I cannot see it, due to the clouds or smokes.
