The Secret Life of my Hedgerow!

I was awake early yesterday morning just as the sun was moving across our garden meadow.
(We have a garden that used to be an orchard so it grows wild flowers and meadow plants naturally; we have never been able to tame the wildness, nature always wins in the end.
So now we just enjoy a wild garden and our own meadow and woodland lol!).

So I decided at 5.30am to photograph everything I could find in and on our 60 foot long hedgerow the runs along part of our land.

I will add images as I find them as I would like to show the mass of wildlife and insects that co-exist if we just stopped and looked.
The hedgerow consists mainly of brambles and stinging nettles, not an attractive hedge but its the main food plants of many insects; and perfect nesting for some birds and shelter for animals.
So it contains a perfectly run ecosystem.
Most these images have been taken in a 3 hour time span.
But I will try to capture more through the year, to show a complete yearly cycle of the hedgerow!

The images may not be photographic quality Im simply trying to show a species I have captured!
I will be uploading daily as I have taken over 700 images and will be sorting through them all.
