Definitely a member of the group of insects called "True Bugs" or "Shield Bugs". I think if you search the genus Palomena you'll find this one.

I believe it is from the shield bug family. Im not entirely sure if its the young stage of the green shield bug, but I had some of these much, much smaller. So the next stage may well be where they lose that black.
