Today was try out everything new day. I recently purchased the new Nikon D300 and had yet had a chance to try it out on birds. I have the battery grip for the bottom. Boy was I impressed with the focusing and speed of this camera. It blows away the D2x! I think I'm really going to like this camera. Well, I also bought a new computer, a MacPro, to replace my slower G4. I got it up and running yesterday. I also bought CS3 which is what I used to edit this image. It's going to take some getting used to it, but it's a super upgrade from CS2, which I liked a lot. You'll be seeing lots of geese flight shots for a while, since that's what I mostly did today. We're going into cold and snowy weather now so I won't be out as much unless the conditions are right.
