Ive been watching the birds bring in their babies to be fed. I got lucky when the Red Belly Woodpecker brought in his youngster to be fed. They actually stayed for photos . It never let me do that again. The baby quickly learned how to feed itself. If you feed birds, I do recommend a peanut feeder. Almost all the bird will come for peanuts. It's more popular than suet even in the winter.
