I had a surprise yesterday when I looked out from my sunroom to the garden below and discovered a coyote laying under a shrub. I have chicken wire supported by metal stakes around the shrubs in the garden to protect the plants from the rabbits and deer. I never figured out why she went in there. I had to open the chicken wire in a spot where it was woven together for her to get out. She made a mess of the garden by digging to get out. Due to the wire and fencing that she knocked in, the only decent shots I could get were extreme close-ups. The window was frozen shut so I had to shoot through glass. Not too bad shots for a difficult situation. I was thrilled that she was there. Now she needs to come back and catch some rabbits and rodents!
