Bob and I went on a tube trip with a few of our friends. This time we tubed the Seyhan River near Camliyayla, Turkey (Aug 08) in the Aladag mountains. This river was a little wilder than the rides we did last year and I almost lost the camera when we hit the first "rapids". Some of the photos are at odd angles, not because I was trying to be artsy, but because the river was tossing me around as I tried to get photos. I don't know how many times I almost got dumped overboard, but I made it through with everything intact. I can't say the same for Tony--he had a colorful assortment of scrapes and bruises. Bob managed to make it down the river without letting the ice chest get away or tip over. After our wild ride, we ate lunch at a lakeside restaurant. Bob had fresh trout and I had the chicken. Three of our gang were ready to make a second ride down the river when the sky busted loose with the first rain storm we've seen in months. Of course it didn't rain down in Adana.
