Leon Sinks Geological Area is south of Tallahassee. It's a lovely area to hike in the fall with the entire loop at 5.4 miles long. When we went in November, it was warm in the high, sunny areas, and cook down by the creek and sink holes. Lost Creek is aptly named as it disappears undergroun, and reappears in other areas. The water was a surprising red color in some areas, stained by leaves.
