Our journey continued to Grand Teton National Park. We had to take the long way from Yellowstone National Park because snow had closed the roads in the south end of Yellowstone. We got down to Ashton and were going to cross over the mountains there, but a rock slide had closed the road to trailers. So we went futher south to Swan and Palisades Lakes. The scenery was beautiful and we enjoyed our detour. We still arrived at Grand Teton well before sunset and got a beautiful camp site with a view of Jackson Lake and the mountains. I didn't really expect a lot from the Tetons, but we really enjoyed it. We saw wildlife, I heard my first elk bugling, Bob did a lot of fishing, and I spent some time on my own doing my photography. We also spent some quality time together watching the great sunsets, eating lunch on top of signal mountain, and spotting wildlife.
