It was a misty day at "Torhamns udde" where many raptors pass on migration. At around 1PM we started to se raptors appeared like shadows, slowly gliding above us looking for thermals. The stream of birds never seemed to stop, but the mist made it difficult to take any pictures. After a while clear sky appeared in some places and we managed to get some pictures. The majority of the birds were Rough-legged Buzzards with some Sparrowhawks as well. At most I counted 14 Buzzards visible at the same time, in total there were several hundreds. They were desperate to find a good thermal but I never saw anyone gain any major height. The cold mist probaly weakened the upwinds.
